It’s been an unprecedented couple of weeks. Everyone is excited to see this chapter in America close and for a return to normalcy. Our hope is that everyone is healthy, safe and weathering this storm.
We cannot resume the season until the state and federal ban on gatherings is lifted and our practice facilities re-open. At this point, along with all the other clubs and organizations, we fully intend to have a spring AAU season with the same amount of practices and tournaments.
As promised, we will update you weekly with what we are able to share. We want to encourage all players to creatively do what they can at home to stay in shape and work on ball handling and shooting skills on their own.
We all are looking forward to restarting as soon as possible!
The health and safety of our players, coaches, and families is of the utmost importance to us.
In light of the recent school closures, the AAU’s suspensions of all events, and the MIAA’s decision to delay the start of spring sports, we have decided to cancel all practices and tournaments. We will follow the recommendation of the AAU, the MIAA and our local schools as to when our schedule can resume. Currently, that date is projected to be March 30th. We will send an update next week.
Our plan is to extend the season, and will look to provide the same number of practices and tournaments as was set forth in the original schedule. Due to the fluidity of the situation, we will not send out an updated schedule at this time.
We will keep you updated with any changes or new developments. We hope everyone is doing well.
Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support.
Tony and Mandy
